The project

The Erasmus + project “The Ariadne thread of tourism” is connected with the education of adults, since it aims to trigger a path of change and development of a category of “adults” that until now had remained in the shadows and had not been properly protected. 

And it is precisely the need to find a way out of this situation, which led to the choice of the title of the project “The Ariadne thread of tourism”. This “thread”, just as Teseo helped find the exit from the Maze of Minosses, will support the owners of travel and tourism companies to protect and improve their personal and professional dimension.

The project responds to the needs of one of the key sectors of the EU economy, the tourism, which has been severely affected by the pandemic and which aims to find a “new normal”. In fact, this project responds to the need that the owners of travel and tourism agencies have to modernize and make their facilities and services sustainable and socially responsible.

The project helps to recognize and consolidate their informal and formal skills – develop organizational management tools that will help owners promote their soft skills. Different reports have been developed that analyze the state of the tourism sector. An online professional training course has been created and finally a manual on soft and digital skills. All materials are freely available on a multilingual electronic platform. In fact, all products are available in Italian, English, Greek and Hungarian.
